What can you say in 100 words or less?

How about this for an impromptu competition

I would like to know what you can say in 100 words or less. Call it what you will: flash fiction, microfiction, sudden fiction, send me a story that is 100 words or less and I’ll consider including it in our annual print anthology.

Here’s the deal:

Email submissions of 100 words or less to: spillingink.email@gmail.com and, quality allowing, I will select entries for inclusion in our annual print anthology (tentatively scheduled for publication February, 2011).

There is no entry fee! And if the quality of submissions is high enough the prize will be publication. Simples.

But be quick about it! Deadline is 15 August. What fun…

And don’t forget other upcoming deadlines:

15 August – cut-off date for submissions to be considered for Issue 2, due for release 1 Septmeber

31 August – deadline for entries to the Short Story Competition – with cash prizes and publication
