About

Spilling Ink Review is a new, quarterly e-journal. Although SIR is a recent addition to the e-ranks we aren’t going to let that deter our search for quality prose. We’re a troupe of professional writers and readers that shares a passion for the written word as well as compassion for new and established writers looking for an innovative platform. The aim is to create an environment where the unexpected can thrive, where the serious and the humorous can sit comfortably side-by-side, and where we can celebrate both the process and the product of creative writing.

Here’s the thing… SIR will be populated by your high-standard submissions and will be published quarterly. SIR will also host competitions throughout the year. All the competition winners (as well as the best-of-the-best from our e-journal) will be collected in an annual print anthology. Check out the Submission Guidelines and Competition Guidelines for more information.

SIR will consider fiction (genre, too), flash fiction, prose poetry, humorous essays and non-fiction. You’ll find more detail under Submission Guidelines but keep in mind (above all else) we want to read your very best work.

We appreciate your interest in our publication and hope this is the beginning of a long and interesting journey!

Kind regards,
Spilling Ink Review
