Amy Burns is originally from Birmingham, Alabama but now makes her home in Scotland. She recently completed a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow and holds degrees in English and Philosophy. She is the Managing Director and Editor for Arts Unbound, Ltd, mother-company to Spilling Ink Review and Unbound Press. Amy’s short fiction is peppered around the internet and in print. Gill Hoffs lives on the west coast of Scotland, somewhere between the hills and the sea. She has had over 70 short stories and nonfiction pieces published since 2010, and her second novel, In her skin, was recommended for shortlisting for the 2011 Virginia Prize.
